The Hiawatha Outboard was sold by the Gamble-Skogmo Auto and Department stores. Hiawatha was their own brand name. Outboards were manufactured by Gale Products and Scott Atwater. The sales years were from 1941 through 1961. In 1969 the Hiawatha brand name re-surfaced, these outboards were made by Eska. There is more history on the Gamble-Skogmo page of this web site. Many older outboards used common Ignition and Carburetor venders for that period. Discount Marine Parts has Ignition and Carburetor repair kits for most all of these older outboards.
